Little Phenoms · Ages 4–14 · Irvine, CA
Kids Jiu Jitsu in Irvine.Confidence, focus andresilience.
Our kids program helps children ages 4 to 14 build confidence, discipline, coordination, focus and real self-defence skills in a safe, structured and supportive environment.
01 Why Jiu Jitsu
A great foundation on and off the mats
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of the best activities for helping kids develop both physical and mental confidence. Students learn how to move their bodies, listen to instructions, work with partners, handle challenges and keep going when things get difficult.
It is also a strong secondary sport for children who play soccer, basketball, football, wrestling or baseball. It improves balance, coordination, body control, focus and confidence under pressure.
Classes are offered year round in an indoor, air-conditioned training environment, making Phenom a consistent option for families no matter the season or weather.

Yes. It improves balance, coordination, body awareness, mental toughness and confidence under pressure, which is why many students who play soccer, basketball, football, wrestling or baseball train here as a secondary sport.
They move up into the adult Jiu-Jitsu class, which is for ages 15 and above. The kids program runs to age 14, so the transition is a natural next step rather than a restart.
